Paris Kostopoulos
CEO and Chief Designer
Paris Kostopoulos, the firm's founder, has more than 25 years of experience in interior design and project management. Born in Athens, Greece; Paris Kostopoulos started his design training attending freehand drawing classes with a well known painter in Athens and later continued in the Interior Design School at TEI Athens. He went on to work for Panos and Kriton Epemvasis in 1985 even before completing his studies.
He continued working with various designers until leaving Greece in 1989 to obtain a Master's Degree in Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute of NY. Upon completion of the program, he worked with prestigious interior design firms including Jeffrey Bilhuber, Susan Orsini and Richard Mervis before founding PKID in 2001.
His professional beliefs have remained steadfast since the beginning of his carrier: to remain true to himself and his clients, to produce inspirational and life-changing design along with unparalleled quality of work and customer service at a competitive price. Many of Paris Kostopoulos' clients are themselves accomplished entrepreneurs and style setters with a critical eye to perfection and require the special attention that he provides. His motto is: “every job small or large deserves the dedication, respect and attention needed to bring it to completion”. His past projects include residences, offices, clubs, cafes, and restaurants.
